So now karthik and his girlfrnd understand wat a pain their story is to their parents...
Karthik's parents now understand why children find it justified to decieve their parents....

Karthik's situation I felt is so relevant that I can see myself in that position, watching a friend lying to family.
Also, how one seemingly simple phone call can have such profound consequences and how you can understand the reasons only it happens to yourself.

Hmmm. I don't get the point though. The idea is Ravi has moved from being Uppi to being his true self (Ravi-mama).

Hmmm.. good one.. story looks like real life incident(till some twists n turns).. very good attempt if it is pure fiction.. i like realistic n practical stories... so i dont mind if climax is not a fairy tale ending..
